FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW YORK, May 27, 2015 – Bayshore Networks®, the cybersecurity leader for the Industrial Internet of Things, will join Cisco for a Live Webcast tomorrow. Titled “Securing the Internet of Things,” the Webcast airs Thursday May 28 at 8:00 am Pacific Time, 11:00 am Eastern Time. The Webcast explores how Cisco and Bayshore Networks – recently named a Gartner Cool Vendor for 2015 – can help create secure IoT solutions for manufacturing networks.

As a SolutionsPlus Reseller, Bayshore products are available on Cisco’s Global Price List. Bayshore is exhibiting in the Cisco partner village (Booth #1625) at Cisco Live! in San Diego, June 8-11.

Anyone can register for the Live Webcast on the Cisco website.

This live online event will focus on the new challenges around securing the Internet of Things and how it requires a new way of thinking and collaboration between IT and OT staff. You will hear Cisco and Bayshore Networks discuss solutions for securing IoT in manufacturing environments. During this 30-minute webcast, Cisco Security Business Unit Speakers Beth Barach and Scott Pope will discuss the challenges of securing IoT environments. They will be joined by Francis Cianfrocca, Founder & CEO of Bayshore Networks who will provide an IoT cybersecurity demonstration.

The webcast will explore how IoT enabled security can improve employee safety and protect the entire system from the outside, as well as the inside and how Cisco and Bayshore Networks provide an intelligent, integrated solution that protects OT operations on an IT network.

Topics to be covered include:

• The top challenges facing OT (operational technology) and IT (information technology).
• How IT can use the network today to segment and protect operational technology (OT) operations.
• The effects on manufacturing productivity of human error, hacking, and machine failure.
• How the integrated combination of software-defined segmentation, contextual identity, and OT protocol intelligence protects manufacturing, and allows it to improve safety and productivity.
