NEW YORK, May 18, 2015 — Bayshore Networks®, a provider of cybersecurity solutions for the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT), today announced that it has joined the SAP® Startup Focus program as a program member. Through this engagement, Bayshore has built a solution that leverages the SAP HANA® platform to bring the Industrial Internet of Things to SAP customers.
SAP HANA enables businesses to make smarter, faster decisions through real-time analysis and reporting combined with dramatically accelerated business processes. By joining the SAP Startup Focus program, Bayshore will deliver a solution that provides secure integration of machine data with advanced real-time analytics applications, such as predictive analytics, for industrial environments.
“We are thrilled to become validated on the SAP HANA platform,” said Francis Cianfrocca, Bayshore Networks founder and CEO. “With our integrated solution based on SAP HANA, industrial enterprises, such as manufacturing, oil and gas, and critical infrastructure, will quickly be able to experience reduced process costs and new revenue opportunities.”
Bayshore is participating in the SAP Startup Focus program, which supports startups in developing new applications on SAP HANA. The SAP HANA platform streamlines analytics, planning and predictive and sentiment assessments to allow business to operate in real-time. The SAP Startup Focus program is an accelerator for big data, predictive and real-time analytics startups. More than 2,000 startups are participating in the program to date that have developed distinct SAP HANA–based use cases from gaming to retail to finance and manufacturing.
The Bayshore IT/OT Gateway™ integrates with SAP HANA for analytics and visualization, producing actionable events and business intelligence. Leveraging SAP HANA, Bayshore will integrate analytics capabilities into the huge volumes of industrial telemetry data generated by today’s operational technologies. For example, SAP HANA enables Bayshore to layer clustering, anomaly detection and PAL on top of proprietary robotics, PLC and SCADA protocols.
